#tBELLYt and ProCompression Winner!

I love reading about other women’s pregnancy journeys.  I think it’s so amazing that even though we are all creating little human beings, we all have entirely different experiences.

However, I hate searching and waiting for belly updates.  I end up missing them and then get really sad that I can’t commisserate in their peanut butter and pickle craving at that exact moment with them.

So, I decided that instead of #tbt AKA ThrowBack Thursday, I was going to start a #tBELLYt AKA That Belly Thursday.

So here we are at Week 17

Size of baby:

Cravings:  Pretty much gone, but I will keep saying pizza to justify all of it that I’m eating.  What I’m eating a lot of… pickles, beets, Kashi Chocolate Almond Butter Cookies, and EGGS WITH CHEESE.  I don’t think that craving will ever subside.  I am still starving at breakfast and lunch but then can barely eat anything at dinner, well except Kashi cookies.
Working out:  Well I made it through the NYC Half and can now really focus on doing fun cross-training classes at my Y.  I want to get into TRX, give Zumba a shot and go back to BodyPump.  Any others I should try?
I’m still teaching cycle 3 times a week, but don’t plan on running really again until the Monument 10K in 2 weeks.
Weird things:  I’ve been getting heartburn unlike with Gentry.  I’ve also been getting headaches, unlike with Gentry.  And making way too many trips to the bathroom, but that’s pretty standard around here.
Boy or Girl?  Finding out April 8th!  I am seriously crossing off days on my calendar until then.  Why is it so far away?!

    I’ve been taking group exercise classes for years now and never really gave cycle a chance. I love it! It is such a great workout! I also love the RIPPED classes. They are a total body workout.

    Yes, the b&w totally covered up the mess 🙂 I also craved eggs when I was pregnant with the boys and now they won’t eat them. Ever. Kind of weird. Hope the headaches and heart burn subside 😦

    Not even close to preggers, but I recently ended a run of only wanting to eat hummus and carrots. Could be worse!

    TRX is awesome. You will love it. Also, I should forward you one of the weekly emails with workouts from Unite. You would love these workouts. They are killer, but not overwhelming.

    You look great! Eggs with Cheese after a workout has been one of my cravings. Another, whole grain baguettes with dipping oil. I have it almost every night with dinner. I am the same way with headaches, which seem to happen if I have too much salt or too much sugar. I am still getting heartburn even though I have removed anything that typically gives me heartburn. I have gained less weight but one or two bad meals and I gain 2 pounds. We find out the gender in 8 days!!!!!!!! I really think we are having a boy but I thought my daughter was a boy too. I really wish I had a blog so I could link up 🙂

    OMG Did I actaully win the socks?!? I was just looking at some after my half last month. Even pregnant you are still in better shape than me. So not fair! I didn’t have any severe cravings either (except for the time I really wanted Subway and it was after closing hours, and my hubby was too drunk to go across town to the 24 hour one, so I made his friend cry, because you can’t do that to a pregnant woman, but that’s another story). On a side note, panut butter and kosher pickle sandwiches are awesome. I didnt know anyone else ate those but my family.

    Your belly is so tiny and cute!! I’m doing my next belly post on Monday so I’ll link up next week. I’m looking forward to mixing it up with more classes, too… although now that I have a half on the calendar I have a few more weeks of running with a purpose, and then I’ll be back to running whenever I feel like it. 🙂

    Haven’t visited in a while and I’m glad to see everything is going well. You are the cutest pregnant lady ever! I actually love peanut butter and pickle sandwiches even when I’m not pregnant. I think peanut butter goes with everything, right?
